Cabinet to take up forest policy, LG act.

LAHORE -- The 20th provincial cabinet meeting will be held on Tuesday.

The cabinet is likely to approve the Punjab Forest Policy of 2019 as well as for the amendment to the Punjab Local Government Act of 2019 and the Punjab Village Panchayats and Neighbourhood Councils Act, 2019.

The 22-point agenda include approval of local government department's demarcation proposals of local areas under the Punjab Demarcation of Local Areas Rules, 2019 and constitution of succeeding local governments under the PLGA, 2019.
