Cabinet approves NAB Amendment Ordinance 2019.

ISLAMABAD -- The federal cabinet on Friday gave its approval to the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Ordinance, 2019, which will now be sent to President Dr. Arif Alvi for his assent.

The ordinance was given approval through circulation.

Earlier, quoting sources, a private TV channel had said that the law ministry had forwarded a summary of the NAB Ordinance to Prime Minister Imran Khan so that it could be discussed at the next cabinet meeting and after the ordinance passes, , NAB will no longer be allowed to take action against government employees.
