CAA Implements Ban on Gutka, Betel Leaf Chewing, and Smoking Within Jinnah Airport Limits.

KARACHI -- The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) has issued a ban on chewing betel leaf, betel nuts, Gutka, and smoking within the limits of Jinnah Airport, as reported by the media on Thursday.

The CAA has decided to take strict action against individuals engaged in smoking and the consumption of Gutka, Naswar, areca nuts, and betel leaves within the airport premises. Gutka is a form of chewing tobacco composed of crushed areca nuts, tobacco, catechu, paraffin wax, slaked lime, and various flavorings.

The ban will be effective from November 6, as announced by the CAA administration. Those found violating the ban within the boundaries of Karachi airport will face consequences.
