Buzdar's role in sugar scam needs to be probed: Azma.

LAHORE -- The PML-N said on Thursday that Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar saved his own skin in the sugar scam by passing the buck to the federal cabinet.

Mr Buzdar on Wednesday appeared before the commission conducting an inquiry into the sugar scam at the FIA offices in Islamabad and recorded his statement regarding the Punjab government's role from crushing season to the freight support and export subsidy on sugar in 2018-19 financial year.

'CM Buzdar passed the buck of his inefficiency and corruption to the federal cabinet that is headed by Prime Minister Imran Khan. It should be investigated why Buzdar gave subsidy to the sugar mills of Punjab Finance Minister Hashim Jawan Bakht,' PML-N Information Secretary MPA Azma Bokhari said.
