Bureau looking for parents of 18 children.

RAWALPINDI -- The Child Protection and Welfare Bureau (CPWB) has 18 missing and abandoned children, including a minor girl, in its protective custody and is searching for their families.

CPWB's District Officer Ali Abid Naqvisaid out of the 18 children six were found in Lahore and shifted to Rawalpindi while some were brought from Multan.

He said that all the missing children were being well cared for and provided all facilities.

'They attend school as well as enjoy other activities, but it is important that they be reunited with their parents/heirs as soon as possible,' he said.

The heirs of the children can contact the Child Protection Bureau at these numbers: 0519291128 and 0519291129 and Child Helpline - 1121.
