Bulbul-e-Sarhad Mahjabeen Qazalbash passes away.

PESHAWAR -- Eminent Pashto singer Mahjabeen Qazalbash, popularly known has Bulbul-e-Sarhad, died after protracted illness in Peshawar on Wednesday. Mahjabeen Qazalbash suffered heart attack on January 01 after which she was shifted to the Lady Reading Hospital (LRH) Peshawar. She was initially shifted to CCU and then to ICU in the hospital and doctors had declared her condition as serious. A spokesman for the hospital said Mahjabeen Qazalbash remained under treatment at the Intensive Care Unit for two months. The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Culture and Tourism Department had extended assistance to the family of the eminent singer for treatment. During her treatment, different government officials used to visit the hospital to inquire after her health.
