Budget added to frustration of masses, business community.

ISLAMABAD -- The federal budget has added to the frustration of masses and business community as it is based on assumptions and unrealistic estimates and it will not serve the purpose of economic revival, leading businessmen said.

The current size of the federal and provincial governments are unsustainable and it will add to debt and deficits as resource availability is scarce and it will lead to mini-budgets, said Chartered Accountant Tariq Hussain, Mian Zahid Hussain, Zahid Mazhar of APTMA and President Pakistan Economy Watch Dr. Murtaza Mughal while speaking at a seminar organized by the Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Pakistan.
