Boy killed, old man injured in road accidents.

SUKKUR -- A boy was killed and an elderly man was seriously injured in two separate road accidents in Jacobabad on Thursday.

In the first incident, seven-year-old Mazhar Solangi came under the wheel of a tractor while crossing a link road in Attur Bhangar village within jurisdiction of Saddar police station and died on the spot.

The driver escaped from the scene, leaving behind the tractor which was impounded by police.

The boy's relatives rushed him to civil hospital where doctors confirmed the death.

No case of the accident was registered at the area police station.

In the other incident in the same area near district jail, Mohammad Umar Dayo, 70, of Bachal Wah area suffered serious injuries when two motorcycles collided with each other.
