Boy dies after hit by train in Rawalpindi.

Rawalpindi -- An 18-year-old boy died after a speeding train hit him as he attempted to shoot a TikTok video on a railway track in Shah Khalid Colony on Friday.

Rescue 1122 rushed to the scene and shifted the dead body to DHQ Hospital, Raja Bazaar for autopsy. The deceased was identified as Hamza, resident of Girja Road.

According to details, Hamza along with his friends went to the railway track at Shah Khalid Colony and started moving along with railway track while handing over his mobile to friend to record his movement.

They added the boy could not judge the direction of speeding train and got hit by the speeding train. 'The blow was such massive that young boy bounced like a rubber ball in the air and fell on stoned filled rough land sustaining severe injuries,' sources said adding that he succumbed to his injuries on the spot.

Locals and his friends alerted Rescue 1122 which reached at the spot and moved the body to hospital for autopsy.

A spokesman of Rescue 1122 also confirmed that the boy was killed after being hit by a speeding train while he was walking very close to railway track for a video for his social media account. He said the rescuers found the boy dead and shifted him to hospital for post-mortem.
