Bogies imported from China non-functional.

LAHORE -- The bogies imported from China at a cost of $149 million are unable to run on Pakistani tracks, raising questions about the efficiency and competence of officers who inspected them in China.

Sources told media that they needed to spend hundreds of thousands of rupees just to make the said bogies operational.

They also said that the maintenance work was being conducted at the Ski Line of Pakistan Railways.

However, they pointed out that due to improper pressure pipes, there was a risk of accidents since the brakes would not work properly.
