Bilawal departs for Dubai after Zardari undergoes surgery.

ISLAMABAD -- Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has reached Dubai after his father and Pakistan People's Party (PPP) co-Chairman Asif Ali Zardari underwent surgery, media reported on Sunday.

According to details, former president Asif Ali Zardari underwent a surgery in a private hospital in Dubai. The PPP co-Chairman was admitted to a hospital for the last two days due to ill health.

The former president's physician Dr Asim Hussain is also accompanying him. Asif Zardari - who did not attend the coalition parties meeting - will spend few days in Dubai due to surgery.

Earlier in March, Prime Minister (PM) chaired an important meeting of the coalition parties, which continued at the Prime Minister (PM) House for six hours.

The coalition government termed Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) 'a gang of militants' trained by banned outfits, vowing to take stern action against under the law.
