Bannu milkmen face action for adulteration.

LAKKI MARWAT -- The Bannu district administration plans action against the milkmen for selling low quality product to residents after laboratory reports revealed 34 milk samples out of 38 collected from different outlets were found substandard, an official said.

He said the district administration had collected samples of milk for laboratory examination after the residents complained they were getting adulterated milk in the bazaars, putting their health at risk.

He said deputy commissioner Aun Haidar Gondal had directed the step.

BODY FOUND: Bullet-riddled body of an army official was found near Khaisorwali area of Naurang town in Lakki Marwat the other day.

Police said Ikramullah, a brother of the slain identified as Arifullah, 27, shifted the body to the Tehsil Headquarters Hospital, Naurang.
