Balochistan Assembly passes resolution against petroleum price increase.

QUETTA -- The Balochistan Assembly has passed a resolution against the major increase in prices of petroleum products by the federal government.

According to details, the Balochistan Assembly passed a resolution asking the federal government to withdraw the price increase, after which the session of the provincial assembly was adjourned till Monday.

Yesterday, the federal government issued a notification increasing the prices of petroleum products including petrol and diesel by up to 66 percent, with petrol rising by Rs 25.58.
