'Baloch diptych dialogues' at NCA.

LAHORE -- The Zahoorul Akhlaq Gallery of the NCA on Friday opened an art exhibition, titled 'Droshum' - Diptych Dialogues from Balochistan.

The exhibition showcased the works of artists Prof Dr Akram Dost Baloch and Doda Baloch, who hail from Balochistan. The Balochi word, 'Droshum' means form and expression, embodying the essence of all contemplations.

The exhibition was inaugurated by Iranian Consul General Mehran Movahed Far.

It explores the theme of form in nature, which is ubiquitous in everything, from the mystery of inanimate matter to the humane face and cultural garb, from the grandest mountains to the tiniest pebbles, from the intricate web of veins to the swirling patterns of the galaxies.
