Bacha Khan varsity security discussed.

CHARSADDA -- A team of the Pakistan Army officers and jawans visited Bacha Khan University, Charsadda, on Friday where it was briefed about the security measures taken in the varsity.

The team included Lt-Col Naveed Abbas, Lt-Col Mohsin Gulzar, Capt Asfandyar Khan and jawans. It visited the control room and the area near boundary walls of the university where chief security officer retired Col Jan Firdous briefed them about security measures on the varsity premises.

Security in-charge Ashfaq Khan, police sub-inspector Nasrullah Khan and other varsity security staff accompanied Col Firdous.

Later, the army officers called on vice-chancellor Prof Dr Bashir Ahmad in his office and assured him of their full support with regard to security, whenever required.
