Azad Kashmir High Court issues restraining order on PM election till Monday.

MUZAFFARABAD -- The Azad Jammu and Kashmir High Court has issued a restraining order on the conduction of elections of the Prime Minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir till Monday. The Speaker AJK Legislative Assembly Chaudhry Anwarul Haq had suspended the rules in hurry for the election of the new leader of the house after the resignation of prime minister AJK Sardar Abdul Qayyum Khan Niazi on Friday.

On Friday, the two-member of the AJK High Court comprising Justice Shahid Bahadur and Justice Ijaz Ahmed Khan conducted hearing on the petition filed by Pakistan People's Party Azad Kashmir leaders Chaudhry Latif Akbar and Chaudhry Muhammad Yasin.
