ATC grants interim bail to Wajahat.

GUJRAT -- A Gujranwala Anti-Terrorism Court has granted an interim bail to former federal minister Chaudhry Wajahat Hussain in two different cases.

He appeared in the ATC along with his legal team and the judge granted him interim bail until March 20. Earlier, the Lahore High Court had accepted the protective bail of Wajahat Hussain until March 13.

Wajahat and his son, Musa Elahi, had been booked in two different cases lodged with the Ghalib Market police station of Lahore and the Kakrali police station of Gujrat in connection with a clash between the PML-Q and PML-N supporters on the issue of Kotla civil hospital on Jan 16 the last.

Similarly both the father and the son had been booked by Karianwala police of Gujrat on charges of attacking the residence of Gujrat PML-N Vice President and Hajiwala Union Council former chairman Muhammad Ali Gujjar.

Musa Elahi is already on bail in all these cases as the Gujranwala ATC had confirmed his bail whereas an additional district and sessions judge's court had granted him pre-arrest bail in the Karianwala case.
