PESHAWAR -- An anti-terrorism court (ATC) Bannu Tuesday extended judicial remand of the MNAs from Waziristan Mohsin Dawar and Ali Waziristan for 14 more days. Senior leader of the Pashtun Tahaffuz Movement (PTM) and Member of the National Assembly (MNA) Mohsin Dawar, who was absconding after being nominated in an attack on a security check post in North Waziristan tribal district, was arrested from the North Waziristan agency on May 30. He was handed over the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) for eight days. It may be recalled that bloody clash between the security forces and the activists of the Pashtoon Tahaffuz Movement (PTM) following the later's attack on a military check-post in Kharqamar North Waziristan tribal district had resulted in serious injuries to five troops while several activists of the PTM were reported killed and ten others wounded seriously.
