ATA case against 12 for killing five 'rivals'.

FAISALABAD -- Lundianwala police on Monday registered a case under 7-ATA against 12 men for allegedly killing five people and injuring four others at Chak 562-GB, Zafarwal, on Sunday.

Submitting an application, Nadeem Abbas of Chak 463-GB, said on Sunday he along with his brothers Abdul Rauf, Idrees, Hasnain (nephew) and others were riding a van when suspects, including Imran and his brother Adnan, Ikram, Zahid, Tahir, Mansoor, Ahsan and five unidentified persons carrying automatic weapons stopped the vehicle near a brick kiln owned by Akbar Ali.

He said the assailants riding bikes came from the rear side and opened fire on the passengers killing his two brothers, nephew, driver Sajawal and Arif on the spot. Four others -- Ashraf, Qasim...
