Asif tops group in World Snooker.

KARACHI -- Former world champion Mohammad Asif sent Israel's Daniel Rand packing 4-0 in his last league fixture to top group C in the IBSF World Snooker Championships in Turkish city of Antalya on Friday evening.

According to the information made available here, Asif won the tie 88-13, 59-25, 75-19, 72-36. Asif had conceded just two frames in the four matches.

Promising Mubashir Raza also notched up straight 4-0 victory over Mongolian Bolorkhuu Erdene (87-14, 92-0, 71-6, 91-1) to stay in contention for a place in knockout from group B.
