KARACHI -- In the first semi final of the Sindh Sports Board-Sports Journalists Association of Sindh Inter-media T20 Cup, ARY Web easily overpowered GEO NEWS by 9 wickets to qualify for the final of the event.
Chasing 141 runs, at the Annu bhai park, ARY Web's openers took GEO News' bowlers to cleaners and laid 127-run foundation in 8 overs to overhaul the target in 9.5 overs for the loss of just one wicket.
Badar Abidi hammered 86 off just 30 balls while the only dismissed batsman Babar Khan scored 41 off 22 deliveries.
Earlier Geo News accumulated 140/6 in the allotted 18 overs.
