Army claims top spot in Korean Ambassador National Taekwondo Ch'ship.

ISLAMABAD -- Pakistan Army continued its supremacy as its athletes finished at the top in the senior khyrougi and poomsae competitions of the 14th Korean Ambassador National Taekwondo Championship at Amir Boxing Academy Hall on Monday.

Army's athletes claimed 16 gold, seven silver and six bronze medals, accumulating a total of 580 points to clinch first position. Pakistan WAPDA amassed 345 points to finish second with three gold, 10 silver 12 bronze medals. Pakistan Air Force (PAF) collected 206 points to remain third by claiming two gold, four silver and 10 bronze medals.

In junior khyrougi mompetitions, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa took first position with two gold, two silver and one bronze medal, getting a total of 60 points. Sindh and PAF each got 40 points to remain third and fourth respectively. Sindh's athletes bagged two gold and one silver, while PAF's earned three silver and two bronze medals.
