Appointment of 'junior' as college principal opposed.

SUKKUR -- Senior professors at the Ghulam Mohammad Mahar Medical College (GMMMC), Sukkur, have challenged the recent appointment of a 'junior' colleague as principal and his out-of-turn promotion.

The move has disappointed senior faculty - Prof Jan Mohammad Memon, Prof Pir Bux Magsi (vice principal), Prof Rafiq Ahmed Memon and some others - and some of them expressed strong reservations over the decision.

They vowed to move court against the 'unfair, unethical and unlawful' decision taken by administration of the Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto Medical University (SMBBMU), Larkana.
