APNS Federal Capital Committee meets Secretary Information.

ISLAMABAD -- A delegation of Federal Capital Committee of the APNS headed by its Chairman, Mr. Mohsin Bilal held a meeting with Ms. Zahida Parveen, Secretary Information, Government of Pakistan and apprised her on the issues related to decrease in the quantum of business and release of advertisements to ghost and dummy publications.

The delegation insisted that the quantum of advertisements be increased and the advertisements be issued to genuine publications. The Secretary Information gave a patient hearing to the delegation and assured that efforts be made to maximize transparency in the release of Federal Government advertisements. In this respect, she issued a notification that the distribution report for advertisements of both, print and electronic media, will be uploaded on the PID website on daily basis.
