Apex committee discusses uplift spending in merged districts.

PESHAWAR -- The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Apex Committee discussed the development spending in merged tribal districts in its meeting held here on Thursday.

A statement issued here said that KP Governor Shah Farman chaired the meeting, which took place at the Governor's House.

It was attended by Chief Minister Mahmood Khan, chief secretary Dr Kazim Niaz, Inspector General of Police Sanaullah Abbasi, Corps Commander, Peshawar, Dr Noman Mehmood and other senior officials.

It said that the committee discussed and reviewed overall security situation in the province, particularly in merged districts.
