Anti-encroachment drive to be carried out in F-11.

ISLAMABAD -- The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has planned an anti-encroachment operation to retrieve its land in Bhekha Syedan area of F-11.

The CDA's deputy director general enforcement on Friday through a letter requested the deputy commissioner (DC) and senior superintendent of police (SSP) operations for magisterial cover and police support.

'CDA's land in village Bhekha Syedan Sector F-11 is in adverse possession and needs to be vacated in order to develop remaining part of F-11 as per approved master plan of Islamabad,' read the letter.

An official of the CDA said the operation was planned for Monday, provided the civic agency gets support from the police and administration. A few days ago, Justice Babar Sattar of Islamabad High Court directed the CDA to retrieve land from encroachers.
