ANP vows to resist any change to 18th Amendment.

KARAK -- Awami National Party provincial additional general secretary Khursheed Khattak has said that they would resist any change to the 18th Amendment and resolved to launch a mass contact campaign after the lockdown was over to mobilise the workers.

Talking to mediapersons here on Wednesday, he said that the federating units of the country needed more autonomy instead of rolling back the 18th Amendment.

He recalled that the amendment was the result of a long struggle of ANP for the rights of the province and demanded of the federal government to provide the net hydel profit to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

He said that during its seven-year rule in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa so far the PTI could not launch any mega project in the province except Peshawar BRT, which had become a mega corruption scam.
