ANP revokes basic membership of senator Sitara Ayaz.

PESHAWAR -- After Abdul Latif Afridi, Afrasiab Khattak and Bushra Gohar, Awami National Party has terminated Senator Sitara Ayaz's party membership on Friday over the charges of violating the party's discipline. According to a statement issued from the Bacha Khan Markaz, Senator Sitara Ayaz was accused of organizing and promoting grouping in the party and participating in anti-party activities due to which provincial president Aimal Wali Khan issued her show-cause notice. The provincial president gave Senator Sitara Ayaz a personal hearing in the presence of other cabinet members, but the senator couldn't provide satisfactory answers to the provincial president and other cabinet members.

The Provincial President has terminated Senator Sitara Ayaz party membership under Article 27 Section 1 of the party constitution, discipline and in the larger interest of the party after which she has no relationship with the party, said the statement. Remember that on September 2, Awami National Party terminated the party membership of senior lawmaker Latif Afridi.
