Anp Files Motion Against Khosa's Remarks on 18th Amendment
The Awami National Party (ANP) moved an adjournment motion in the upper house on Thursday against Punjab Governor Sardar Latif Khosa’s statement regarding the 18th constitutional amendment.
The adjournment motion states that the Khosa’s remarks on the 18th amendment reflect a dictatorial mindset. The Governor Punjab is seeking powers enjoyed by a dictator, it says.
The adjournment motion further adds that the 18th constitutional amendment was approved with the consent of all political parties present in the Parliament.
