Alleged secret understanding played role in budget approval.

Islamabad -- An alleged secret understanding between the government and opposition has surfaced, under which the opposing only tion provided space to Prime Minister Imran Khan for speech but helped the government in approving the budget.

According to official details, as many as 294 members were present in the National Assembly but when counting was made for voting 279 were present and 15 were found absent. There are 12 PTI members of Parliament who didn't attend the session on the day of voting.

Out of a total 279 votes, the government secured 160 and opposition 119.

According to the national assembly record, 12 members of PTI were absent. Sajid Turi, Jawad Hussain, Tahir Sadiq, Jaffar Khan, Imtiaz Chaudhry, Amir Sultan Cheema, Rahat Amanullah, Sardar Talib, Farooq Azam, Basit Ahmed, Sultan Bukhari, Jaffar Khan Laghari, Nasirullah Darwaish and Aamir Hussain were included among the absent members Parliament.
