Alleged dacoit killed by firing of own accomplices during dacoity bid.

MULTAN -- A dacoit was killed by the firing of their own accomplices during a dacoity bid near Basti Mithu in limits of Sadar police station Shujaabad last night.

According to police sources, a citizen informed Sadar police last night that armed robbers intercepted them near Basti Mithu when they were going to Matotli from the cattle market.

Meanwhile, the dacoits opened fire on them in which a dacoit was also injured by the firing of their own accomplices they saved themselves by laying down on land.

Upon receiving the information, police reached the spot and the robbers managed to escape from there.
