All possible efforts to be made to make city clean, green: commissioner.

SARGODHA -- Commissioner Sargodha Muhammad Ajmal Bhatti has said that all possible efforts should be made to make the city clean and green.

He expressed these views while presiding over a review meeting of the ongoing tree plantation campaign and to grow more Miyawaki forest in the city with the cooperation of the Forest Department and Parks and Horticulture Authority here on Thursday.

The meeting was informed that the forest department was planting 5.8 million saplings in the four districts as part of the ongoing plantation campaign, out of which 2 million saplings were being planted in collaboration with private organisations and citizens, which were being provided free of charge by the forest department.

It was further informed that all other government departments were given a target of planting 3 million saplings, while 700,000 saplings were being planted by the Pakistan Army.
