All political parties should carryout the electoral reforms: Sirajul Haq.

ISLAMABAD -- Emir Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan Sirajul Haq has said that we are not going to struck alliance with any political party but it is our desire that all political parties should carryout the electoral reforms. He said that the only elections should not be held but independent elections should be held and prior to this the electoral reforms should be carried out. Sirajul Haq said that JI not supported the no-confidence motion against former prime minister Imran Khan tabled by Pakistan Democratic Movement and Pakistan People's Party nor we have supported Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf because we consider ourselves as an alternate, adding that irrespective of the fact that we receive more or less votes it is our stance that the only solution to all the problems facing by country is only the Islamic system.

In an interview with a private TV channel, Sirajul Haq said that PTI got such an opportunity which was not given by any other party, adding that the establishment enthusiastically supported it and it was the first government which was represented by ISPR, adding that the court also did not create any problem for it and NAB and FIA were used by this government. He said that DG ISPR had said that no one should criticize the government for six months and circumstances will change after six months, adding that this support and cooperation was not seen for any other government. He said that the ISI chief was used to move forward with them and army chief moved forward with them while joining shoulder to shoulder and also supported them in foreign affairs and assisted them while visiting every country.
