AJK Prime Minister thanks Malaysian delegation for raising voice for oppressed Kashmiris.

MIRPUR (AJK) -- :Azad Jammu Kashmir Prime Minister Raja Farooq Haider Tuesday expressed gratitude to the delegates of Malaysian Consultative Council of Islamic Organization for visiting Azad Jammu Kashmir and raising voice for the oppressed people of Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IOJK).

The prime minister expressed these views while talking to a seven-member delegation of Malaysian Consultative Council of Islamic Organization which called on him led by its President Haji Azmi Mohammad in Islamabad, an official statement released by the AJK State Information department here.

On this occasion, the prime minister expressed profound gratitude to Malaysian Prime Minister Mahatir Mohammad for extending support to the struggling Kashmiris in United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) session.

He said Pakistanis and Kashmiris enjoy historical relations with Malaysian people and it needs to be further strengthened.

Raja Farooq Haider Khan said that AJK government would provide place and all other requisite facilities for the establishment of Malaysian Cultural Center in Muzaffarabad.

He apprised the visiting delegates about the huge tourism potential in the state and added that his government is taking special measures to promote it.

The prime minister told that state government is extending special assistance to the investors in Azad Kashmir.
