AJK premier's aide resigns.

MUZAFFARABAD -- Chaudhry Rafique Nayyar, special assistant to Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) prime minister for information, environment and small industries corporation, has 'voluntarily' resigned from his office to help the government smoothly run the upcoming Legislative Assembly session, it emerged on Thursday.

The resignation was handed over by him to Prime Minister Sardar Tanveer Ilyas on Wednesday night following which a notification to this effect was issued by the Services and General Administration Department (S and GAD) at about 11:30pm.

Sources in the ruling PTI disclosed to Dawn that Speaker Chaudhry Anwarul Haq had developed some serious skin allergy due to which he could not settle into a chair beyond a certain duration.
