AJK PM orders to operational cardiac OPD functional in 60 days.

MIRPUR [AJK] -- Azad Jammu and Kashmir Prime Minister Sardar Tanveer Ilyas Khan on Thursday directed to operational the Out Patient Department (OPD) of the cardiac hospital within 60 days.

'Cardiac surgeons and other professional staff should be appointed immediately on a 24/7 basis, and incinerator should be installed for the disposal of waste material originating from the hospital', the Prime minister said while visiting the health care facility near Bank Road in the State metropolis.

PM AJK said elevators should be installed in the hospital for the convenience of the patients and instructed the public health secretary to re-evaluate the allocation of wards in terms of the sensitivity of the cardiac hospital and the convenience of the patients.
