AJK officials urged to serve masses with missionary zeal.

MUZAFFARABAD -- Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) Prime Minister Sardar Tanveer Ilyas has directed government servants to use all available resources for the convenience of people during the holy month of Ramazan.

'While discharging your responsibilities diligently, you should treat people visiting your offices in pursuit of their legitimate work with due respect and honour,' he said to government servants in a press statement on Sunday.

Underscoring the need to address people's problems without any delay, he said people should not be compelled to make rounds of government offices.

'Ideally, the problems facing the masses should be addressed at their doorsteps by simplifying cumbersome procedures so that they do not have to frequent government offices,' he said, adding that people had voted the PTI to power in Azad Kashmir to change the outdated and corrupt system and they should not be disappointed.
