AJK journalists scanned for accreditation cards.

MIRPUR (AJK) -- The second phase of interviews for issuance of accreditation cards by the AJK Information Department to the journalists serving in AJK and Islamabad, has been completed by the regulatory body, Azad Jammu and Kashmir Press Foundation, it was officially said.

'As many as 36 candidates from Poonch division, Muzaffarabad division and Rawalpindi/Islamabad who had got through the written test appeared for interviews.

Of these candidates who qualified written test 8 were from Bagh, 5 from Poonch, 3 from Haveli, 1 from Pallandri, 3 from Muzaffarabad, 2 from Neelum, 1 from Hattian and 12 from Rawalpindi/Islamabad.

Nine candidates who qualified written test could not appear for interview', an official statement of the State Information Department issued late Sunday said.

In the light of order of Chairman Press Foundation Raja Sadaquat Hussain, the meeting of press foundation was held here on Sunday. It was attended by Vice Chairman of PF Sardar Zulfiqar Ali, Additional Secretary Law Raja Zahid Mehmood Khan and others.
