AJK CBR Chairman discusses matters with FBR Chairman in Islamabad.

ISLAMABAD -- The Chairman of Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) Central Board of Revenue (CBR) FarhatAli Mir met Chairman of Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) Javed Ghani at FBR Secretariat here to discuss matters related to AJK CBR. The Chairman AJK CBR briefed Chairman FBR that AJK government has established AJK CBR as a fullfledged taxation authority for the region with the policy and regulatory functions like FBR at Federal level and Revenue Authority at the provincial levels. The CBR Chairman further informed that AJK government has adapted a law of FBR Act 2007 and legislated AJK CBR Act 2020, therefore AJ and K CBR is filled and charged with similar authority and functions to bring in fiscal
