AIOU welcomes Heroes of Special Olympics 2019.

ISLAMABAD -- Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) gave welcome-reception in the honor of the Special Students who won Gold, Silver and Bronze Medals in Special Olympics 2019.

According to press release issued here on Sunday said that Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Zia-Ul-Qayyum on the occasion assured the full support to the needy students of university in their educational pursuits.

Dr. Zahid Majeed, Director International Office, informed that special students won the medals for demonstrating their extra-ordinary talents and that was a great honor for the entire country.

Mahfooz Elhai an Industrialist who had the leading role in supporting the handicapped said on the occasion that it was his life-time mission to serve the marginalized sections of the society.
