Acid attack woman dies in Karachi.

KARACHI -- A woman, who was attacked with acid in Panu Aqil, succumbed to her burn injuries in a Karachi hospital on Sunday.

According to a report, a man threw acid on his wife Farzana Mirani, aged 35, and their eight-year-old daughter Yusra Mirani a month ago. The body of little girl was badly burnt and she died in the Gambat Hospital a month ago. However, her mother Farzana received sever burn injuries but had survived.

She was under treatment at a Karachi hospital, where she died of injuries. The police have registered a case against the fleeing accused.
