ACE asked to probe Lakki road project.

LAKKI MARWAT -- The district administration has approached the Anti-Corruption Establishment (ACE) for conducting a probe into alleged use of substandard construction material in repair of Tajazai-Lakki road.

An official source confirmed on Tuesday that deputy commissioner, Lakki Marwat, had written a letter to the ACE circle officer seeking a probe into the road project which got damaged soon after completion of the repair work.

He said that the repair work on a portion of the busy road had been completed by Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Highway Authority a few months ago.

The source said that the repaired parts of artery connecting Khyber Pakhtunkhwa with Punjab had developed potholes, apparently due to use of low quality material.
