Accused should not try to dominate the system: SC.

ISLAMABAD -- Justice Qazi Amin of Supreme Court (SC) has remarked the accused should not try to dominate over system and they will have to cooperate with the court.

He further remarked if the accused are innocent then as to why they don't get them acquitted through completion of trial.

A 3-member bench of SC presided over by Justice Mushir Alam took up for hearing bail petition of Muhammad Umair and Hussain Lawai, accused in fake bank accounts scam here Wednesday.

The court has sought progress report from trial court in this reference.

The SC has maintained that the trial court should complete hearing in respect of the references without further delay. The proceedings should not be stopped on mere filing of application in case no stay order is there.

Justice Qazi Muhammad Amin inquired SC has already directed to wrap up the reference by holding hearing expeditiously. Why the NAB is not wrapping up references. What is happening this .

NAB prosecutor took up the plea during the hearing the attitude of the accused is the reason behind delay in disposing of the case.
