Academy for special children short of staff.

KOHAT -- An academy set up for facilitating the special children by the federal government has been facing shortage of staff and means of transportation for over a decade.

Tariq Mehmood, principal of the Special Nishtar Academy, when contacted, told Dawn that a number of posts had been vacant for more than a decade. He said that the posts of 13 teachers, doctor, brailler, white stick mobility instructor, vice-principal, senior technician, social care worker, the maid, psychiatrist, attendant, Qari, sanitary staff and watchman, had long been lying vacant.
