THE pressure to achieve good grades, awards and scholarships can be overwhelming for students. The tendency leads to stress, anxiety and depression which impact students' performance and overall wellbeing. In recent times, academic pressure has increased manifold in the form of back-to-back exams, assignments, projects and presentations.

Besides, high expectations of family and society multiply students' anxiety levels. As a result, many students give up or quit academics. Some of them even feel suicidal for not living up to the expectations.
