RAWALPINDI -- Divisional Commissioner Noorul Amin Mengal has appointed the assistant commissioner headquarters as the director staff to the chairman of the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Rawalpindi, which drew criticism from senior officials.

However, Punjab Additional Secretary Boards of Higher Education Department Dr Rehana Ilyas told Dawn that there was no wrong in the appointment, as the commissioner appointed the assistant commissioner headquarters as the director staff to run the day-to-day affairs of the board.
