Abid, Shan centuries put Pakistan upfront at stumps on Day 3.

Openers Abid Ali and Shan Masood 278 run stand have put the hosts upfront at the stumps on Day 3 against Sri Lanka in the second Test in Karachi. Pakistan finished the day on 395-2 and are now 315 runs ahead of the visitors.

Abid and Shan now hold a record of 2nd highest opening wicket-partnership by the Pakistani openers. Abid Ali continues his purple patch as he scores a mammoth 174 runs and became the first Pakistani and ninth overall to score Test hundreds in the first two matches of Test career.
