Abdul Rafey of Tabani's School wins 1st semi-final of UK GREAT Debate.

KARACHI -- Abdul Rafey from Tabani's School of Accountancy has won the first semi-final of the fourth annual GREAT Debate competition.

The event was organised by the British High Commission here at the Sir Syed University of Engineering and Technology (SSUET) Karachi.

Mohammad Ammar Abbasi of Karachi University was declared runner-up among the participants from 16 universities in Karachi, said a statement on Monday.

Speaking as a chief guest British Deputy High Commissioner in Karachi and Trade Director for Pakistan, Ms Elin Burns, said, 'In the last three years, through the GREAT Debate we have engaged
