Ababeel Sqaud of police gets motorcycles.

SWAT -- Senior Superintendent of Police Arshad Khan has said that Ababeel Squad would help prevent all types of crimes in Swat as the force was highly trained to work faster and move quicker in case of emergency.

He was speaking at a ceremony of handing over motorcycles to the newly trained cops of Ababeel Squad in Mingora police station here the other day. DSP Bacha Hazrat Khan was also present on the occasion.

The distinctly uniformed Ababeel Squad is an exclusive patrolling force to control street crimes in Swat. The squad has been equipped with modern communication devices, body cameras, drone cameras and other gadgets for smart surveillance.

The squad would be connected to the central control room through a wireless communication system. Ababeel Squad is already working in Peshawar, which was formally launched by Chief Minister Mahmood Khan last year.
