96 arrested over violation of SOPs.

PESHAWAR -- District administration Peshawar has arrested 96 persons from different localities of the district over violation of corona precautionary guidelines and making crowd, said a news release issued here Thursday.

Several shops were also sealed at Speenzar IT Tower Plaza and Gul Haji Plaza and owners were arrested.

Deputy Commissioner (DC) Peshawar, Mohammad Ali Asghar along with Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC), Ishfaq Khan and Assistant Commissioner (AC), Syed Nauman Ali Shah visited University Road, Hashnagri and G.T. Road and inspected various shops arrested several persons over violation of the precautionary measures against corona, making crowd and not observing social distancing.

Similarly, the Assistant Commissioner (AC) City, Sara Rehman inspected busy bazaars like Kochi Bazaar, Shaheen Bazaar and other bazaars inside the city while ACs (Shah Alam), Dr. Ihtesham-ul-Haq, Islahuddin and Rizwana...
